I wanted to write to you to thank you for all that you have done for our son. You will recall that when we first approached you our son was enjoying and getting on well with maths, but disengaged from English and regarded himself as 'bad at it'. On first meeting we were both bowled over by your energy and enthusiasm! You told our son that you would get him to enjoy English! This seemed a big promise, but through your commitment, focus and expertise by making learning a fun process you managed to tap into his potential and change his attitude and build his self-esteem. As a result of the stunning turn around and your hard work together, he has done extremely well in his secondary school examinations. His teacher also has made very positive comments and recently gave him a school certificate for his 'excellent writing' and good use of sentences. By tackling his approach and thoughts about English, from essay writing to comprehension and verbal reasoning, he was well prepared for the exams. Subsequently we have had offers from City of London, Belmont and Northbridge. He is over the moon! Finally, I wanted to thank you not only for allowing him to unlock his potential so he could open up the opportunities through the school examinations and assessments, but even more precious than that is a change of attitude for life; he now views English with a smile and says that he is pretty good at it and even quite enjoys it!
